A Fine Frenzy - Happier
i went to their concert this month and absolutely LOVED ali (the leader singer). she is so carefree and she brings so much passion to her music… it made me really want to search even harder for that thing, that job, that career that would make me as passionate as she is. she sings as if she’s in the shower, like that quote “dance as if no one is watching.” and yes, she did dance. a lot.
she teared up in one of her songs as she sang it and after her last note, she paused and preceded to apologize. she told us that she “took a trip” and “went there” to that time and place …and i could honestly say that she had taken me there with her. so amazing.
the song that got me hooked on her music was almost lover. she sang it as an encore and it was even better in person.
what an evening it was.
