Every monday night (or almost every), I go bowling. Now I don’t really like bowling other than seeing it as a time to exercise some teamwork.
Apart from having played terribly throughout the night, there was one moment where I announced that I would, indeed, be getting a strike. After having had absolutely no luck the previous four or five frames, the chance of me actually getting a strike was slim. BUT, I had one of those moments. You know, the ones where everything is in slow motion… and, even before I let the ball out of my hand, I knew I was actually going to get the strike I wanted.
That moment of clarity I had yesterday when everything was “in its right place,” I knew that I had to have that in my life. I want to have a moment in my career path when I know that, regardless of my physical or emotional state, I would KNOW. I want that job that makes me feel like, even with the slow or long days, I have clarity in knowing that yes, this is where I want and am supposed to be.
